• Purity: This product is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Peroxidase (Horseradish). Cross-reactivity against Peroxidase from other tissues and species may occur but has not been specifically determined.

Biorbyt Goat anti Peroxidase antibody was used to detect horse radish peroxidase under reducing and non-reducing conditions. Reduced samples of purified horseradish peroxidase contained 4% BME and were boiled for 5 minutes. Samples of ~1 and 0.25 ug of protein per lane were run by SDS-PAGE. Protein was transferred to nitrocellulose and probed with Biorbyt Goat anti Peroxidase antibody at 1:5K in orb348637, ON 4°C. Primary antibody was detected with Biorbyt Dylight 649 conjugated Donkey anti-Goat at 1:10K 1.5 hr RT in orb348637.

Western Blot of Goat anti-Peroxidase Antibody. Lane 1: Peroxidase. Lane 2: None. Load: 50 ng per lane. Primary antibody: Peroxidase primary antibody at 1:1000 overnight at 4°C. Secondary antibody: DyLight™ 649 goat secondary antibody at 1:20000 for 30 min at RT. Block: orb348637 for 30 min at RT. Predicted/Observed size: 44 kDa, 44 kDa for Peroxidase. Other band(s): None.
