Description | Fractalkine antibody (Biotin) |
Species/Host | Rabbit |
Clonality | Polyclonal |
Tested applications | ELISA, WB |
Reactivity | Human |
Isotype | IgG |
Immunogen | Anti-Fractalkine antibody was prepared from rabbit antiserum after repeated immunizations with a truncated form of recombinant human Fractalkine protein from E. coli. |
Concentration | 1mg/ml |
Dilution range | ELISA: 1:20,000 - 1:50,000, WB: 1:1000-1:2000 |
Form/Appearance | Liquid (sterile filtered) |
Purity | Anti-Fractalkine is an IgG fraction antibody purified from monospecific antiserum by a multi-step process which includes delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer stated above. This antibody is specific for human Fractalkine protein. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest cross-reactivity with Fractalkine from human sources based on 100% homology with the immunizing sequence. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Biotin and anti-Rabbit Serum. Cross-reactivity with Fractalkine from other sources has not been determined. |
Conjugation | Biotin |
UniProt ID | P78423 |
NCBI | NP_002987.1 |
Storage | Store vial at -20° C or below prior to opening. This vial contains a relatively low volume of reagent (25 µL). To minimize loss of volume dilute 1:10 by adding 225 µL of the buffer stated above directly to the vial. Recap, mix thoroughly and briefly centrifuge to collect the volume at the bottom of the vial. Use this intermediate dilution when calculating final dilutions as recommended below. Store the vial at -20°C or below after dilution. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. |
Buffer/Preservatives | 0.01% (w/v) Sodium Azide |

Note | For research use only |
Application notes | Fractalkine purified antibody has been tested in western blotting and suitable in ELISA. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user. Expect a band approximately ~42 kDa in size corresponding to the human Fractalkine protein by western blotting in appropriate cell lysate or extract. |
Expiration Date | 12 months from date of receipt. |
