In Vivo
Intraperitoneal administration of BMY-14802 hydrochloride (5-20 mg/kg) shows anti-dyskinetic efficacy across a 4-fold dose range against L-DOPA-induced dyskinesias without affectin the efficacy of L-DOPA against lesion-induced akinesia. BMY-14802 hydrochloride reduces D1 and D2 receptor agonist-induced dyskinesia.
In Vitro
BMY-14802 hydrochloride shows effects o the firing of 5 hTergic and catecholaminergic neurons and affects behaviors in a 5 hT1A-sensitive manne.
